Chris Berry

In 1991, Chris became a Christian at age 19. From 1993-94, he attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in Twin Peaks, California. Soon after, Chris was called to Central Mexico to serve with a church plant in Tepic, Nayarit. He returned in 1999, was hired on as an electrician, and helped with Twin Peak Christian Conference Center’s remodel. He then worked as the assistant director before becoming the director in January 2015. He is also a pastor of Calvary Chapel Running Springs, where he served as a worship leader for ten years. He and his wife have been married for fourteen years, and have three beautiful children.

Sean Rees

Assistant Director

Sean began serving the Lord in 1999 when he joined Youth with a Mission. Shortly after, he attended Calvary Chapel Bible College, graduating in 2002. Having a heart for missions, he moved abroad and served in both Jerusalem, Israel and Nairobi, Kenya. Sean then went on to serve on staff at Murrieta Hot Springs for thirteen years and is now the Assistant Director of Twin Peaks Christian Conference Center.

Cathy Jackson

Retreat Coordinator

On April 27th, 1991, Cathy accepted the Lord. Six months later, she attended the School of Evangelism with Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego, California. As a part of the school, and then for the following several years, Cathy went on short-term mission trips to the island of Grenada. In 2007, she began to work for Twin Peaks Christian Conference Center, and has been serving ever since.

Richard Johnson

Guest Services

Richard Johnson has been involved in Christian service for most of his adult life. Music ministry has been a part of his life since his youth. After retiring from a 5-year stretch of family music ministry with his four daughters, he and his wife Kelly began serving at a Christian conference center in Northern California. In April, 2012, God called them to relocate to the Twin Peaks Christian Conference Center where he now serves using his gifts and talents to edify and bless the greater body of Christ.

Historic Surroundings

Twin Peaks Christian Conference Center was built in the early 1960’s. It was originally a Resort/Conference Center named "The Monte Corona", which hosted conferences, workshops, seminars, and training programs for the LA Teachers Association. It was sold to the California Teachers Association and with its great design and unique mountain appeal, it continued as a perfect retreat, seminar, and training center. Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa bought the center from the Teachers Association in 1975 for use as a Bible College and Conference Center. From 1970 to the mid-1980’s, God abundantly blessed its use to spread the gospel, bless the body of Christ, and train up servants for the Kingdom of God. Twenty years later, both the Conference Center and the Bible College were bursting at the seams and it became apparent that God's desire was to move both ministries to a larger facility. Soon, a large facility was purchased in Murrieta Hot Springs, California, and God again blessed His people as "Murrieta Hot Springs Christian Conference Center" opened its doors. In the fall of 1996, the Bible College moved from Twin Peaks to the new facility and Twin Peaks seemed quiet and still. In 1997, the Twin Peaks facilities were reopened as a retreat center. For over three years it continued hosting retreats for adults and youth overflowing from the youth camp in Green Valley Lake. By the end of the 1990’s, Twin Peaks Christian Conference Center was in need of many repairs. In 2000, a massive remodel project began. On August 17, 2001, the doors of the newly renovated Twin Peaks Christian Conference Center were reopened. A sign at the front office in the lobby read: "Welcome to Calvary Chapel Conference Center Twin Peaks. With God all things are possible".
